I believe that all children desire to learn. I also believe that all children have the capability to learn on a daily basis. I want to teach children more than just education; I want to teach children how to be positive, active members of their community. In my classroom, children will learn how to actively respect others as well as maintain a sense of integrity.

Paper Mache
This activity will allow the children to experiment with glue, water, and paper, to form a hard mold for which they can paint to form a masterpiece. It will also broaden their curiosity of art.

Learning Stories are stories that engage listeners in an adventure of childhood enlivened with our own humanity and heart. The stories are meant for parents to see what their children spend their day working on.
Read Aloud
An interactive read aloud is reading aloud for the purpose of instruction. It relates to the reading process in that it focuses on reading comprehension.
